Freedom Farms' Youth Development Program serves transition aged (16-24) at-risk and post-incarcerated youth in the community, offering them a supportive environment to grow and thrive. Our program provides hands-on workforce training and development in sustainable agriculture, wildfire mitigation, and land restoration equipping participants with valuable skills for future employment. Through this work, youth connect with nature, while learning to appreciate the environment and understand their role in its stewardship. Engaging with the land fosters personal growth, enhances emotional well-being, and cultivates a sense of belonging, ultimately inspiring youth to lead healthier and happier lives.
